Black Friday!

This is what 4am on black friday looks like...

Me..I can get up to shop!

Jeffrey... Not so much!

Yes, I am a black friday shopper..the more people, THE BETTER! It is tradition & it brings in the Christmas spirit for me :)

We started at Tarjay. Got there at 4:20am & stood in the longest line ever until 5am in the freezing cold. But I got my camera I wanted & a few other things. Then we went to Old Navy & got some good deals. We stood in the checkout line for almost an hour tho..that was pretty harsh! Then we went to get Jeffrey's computer he wanted which was why he got up & went with me in the 1st place! After that he went home & my sis met me at Toys R Us. I spent the rest of my money there on Kinley's Christmas gifts! So even tho my shopping trip was cut short, I still had a blast & that is all that matters :) Hope everyone enjoyed their black friday too!

Tubes

Kinley's appointment went well yesterday. We loved Dr. Holland & he was very informative. She will have to have tubes placed on December 21st. She will just have "gas" and it will be a 10 minute ordeal he said. I hope this does the trick~ wish us luck!

ENT Appointment

Today is Kinley's ENT appointment. We are going to talk with Dr. Holland about getting tubes in her ears. I know it's a simple procedure & it is done every day~but the thought of putting her "under" just scares me!

That will not be done today~and we don't even know if she will have to do that yet.. but it's def on my mind.

I had alot of friends that had nothing but good things to say about this doctor, so we chose to go with him. I'll let everyone know how the appointment went!

It's Thanksgiving...

Just thought I would write about all the things I am thankful for. Some are the norm..some aren't :) Either way~I am thankful for everything that makes my life complete, I am one happy girl.

JEFFREY

He is everything to me & I am so happy with him. He is the best husband & daddy any girl could ask for. I am thankful for him each & every day!

KINLEY

This girl definitely has my heart. She is the reason I wake up in the mornings (& no not just bc she is crying!!)

I never knew I could love anyone this much. She is the definition of JOY!

MY FAMILY

I wouldn' t be who I am today if it wasn't for my sweet family..including my in-laws :) I love each & every member of my family & wouldn't trade them for anything (well sometimes..)!!

The true meaning of LAUGHTER comes from my friends ;-) I love em all just the way they are! And thank goodness they love me for who I am!!

I have some great memories with them & look forward to making more!

MY JOB

I am very thankful for my great job..especially in these hard economic times.

I have a great boss & co-workers that make life a little easier.

MOVIES

There is nothing better than snuggling up on the couch or having a date night @ the theater w/ my honey. We LOVE movies..funny, scary, dramatic, romantic..they are all welcome in our house! We have more movie quotes memorized than anyone we know! In fact, it's almost time for some quality Christmas time with the Griswold's!!

SHOES

(And just shopping in general)

What girl can resist a cute pair of shoes!? If I could just win the lotto..imagine the SHOES I would have in my closet :) Makes me smile just thinking about it! I am thankful for whoever the first girly shoemaker was! Kudos to you!

San Antonio

We had a great time this weekend (the reason for the lack of blogging for NaBloPoMo)! We decided to head to San Antonio with a couple of our best buds, Alex & Kate.

We stayed at the new Courtyard Marriott & it was super nice!

We left around 10 Saturday morning & didn't get there till 1:30 because of traffic!

After we got checked in we walked down the riverwalk to Rio Rio..couldnt find Casa Rio which is where we were headed so we stopped there instead for appetizers & after we left, Casa Rio was RIGHT THERE. Ugh, oh well! We still had a great time.

Then we went to a place called Dirty Nelly's and listened to the piano player sing & make jokes about the table of women sitting beside him!

Afterwards we went to the mall & then got changed for our night out. We ate dinner at Dick's Last Resort & then went to Howl At The Moon because our waitor gave us coupons for no cover charge..saved us $20 a couple!

We had a really good time & as always~can't wait to go back!

Gettin Jiggy With It!

We laughed our butts off at Miss K last night! Nana came over for a few minutes & Kinley had to show her some new moves! She was dancing to her "My Pal Violet" dog like it was goin out of style!

A nice visit

On Saturday, Aunt Jamie, Uncle Jeremy, Connor & Camryn came down for a visit!

Kinley was all excited when she woke up from her nap to find Connor playing in the living room!

And of course she HAD to "hold" Camryn!
