Presley's Party!

Presley's party was Saturday & I was so happy with how it all turned out :) 

She didn't get much of a nap & was cranky right before, so I was a little worried. But, once everyone started pouring in she livened up & had a ball! After the party she went to sleep right at 5pm & didn't wake up till 7am! She was still in her clothes even, lol! Tuckered out!

Our good friends Kate & Corey came over before the party to help me out. She made these adorable poms for the fireplace & kitchen chandelier! I thought they turned out really cute!

 Happy Birthday, sweet Presley!! Thanks to everyone who came over to celebrate & for the wonderful gifts! We couldn't ask for better family & friends! And thanks to my mom for helping me out all day on Friday!

Presley is ONE!

I can't seem to wrap my head around the fact that Presley is ONE already! This whole year has just flown by in the blink of an eye. She is one happy baby.. & boy was I scared to have another kiddo after Kinley since she was so bad! lol! We love her to pieces.. especially Kinley..& couldn't imagine her not in this life with us! She brings joy to everyone she meets & we are so proud of her & the big girl she has become!

Last night we just had a celebration with us & she had cake for the first time! OH MAN did she love it! Her smash cake for Saturday should be torn to shreds in no time ;)

She LOVED having the birthday song sang to her !

Kinley made her 2 cards. This one was a Texas Ranger themed one & the one below was filled with jewels & stickers :)

Kinley made her this precious build a bear. It only took an hour to pick the perfect outfit!

We got her some new books

Change up

After a month of being at FBC Waco, we decided to switch Presley to a new school. It was not for us & I am SO glad I made the decision :) 

Presley's first day was yesterday- the 6th. She did awesome & even slept 2 1/2 hrs for nap ON A MAT- no crib! This morning I dropped her off & she went in to play but came back to the door wanting me to hold her. I just gave her a kiss and said byebye.. she said "bye" and blew me a kiss! I was expecting her to cry but she proved me wrong! 

She was always screaming the second I dropped her off at the old place.. & when I picked her up she was crying..would cry at least 1/2 the way home before she just passed out.

No tears all day :)

I'm just thankful that I had the intuition I did.. and that they had an opening right away!
