I'm a big kid now!

We made the decision to move Kinley to a toddler bed.
Her crib only converts to a full size so we had to go get her one at Toys R Us.
I was actually pretty sad to see her crib taken apart! I'm sure you can understand why so I won't get into that or I will cry again!
Kinley is growing up before our eyes & she is more independent now than ever. She has always been our independent little girl but it seems to be much more apparent these days.

She helped her Daddy take it down & I stood behind the camera & cried lol just kiddin!

Time to put together the new bed..

It actually matches her furniture PERFECTLY!
In the middle of getting it put together, Kinley & I ran to the store to get some more pull ups & when we came back~VOILA!
Her new bed all put together!

She immediately jumped all over it!

One happy girl!
Ready to get to bed!

She has done so wonderful with the transition. She has always been very good about changes. She left her bottles in the dust when she was 10 months old & left her paci in the dust when she was 21 months old & never looked back. Even when she wakes up in the mornings she waits for one of us to come in there and 'get her out of bed!'
Next thing I know she will be 18 & moving out :/

Thanks Nana & PaPa for the new bedding, we love it!

Wii = Addiction

Dear Wii,
I just wanted to thank you for the new fun filled hours upon hours that you have brought to me! I mean it..playing into the Wii hours of the night!!
However, it is time for me to go back to work & you will have to just wait your turn for my time!
Maybe you will help me succeed with my New Years Resolution tho..?

Love,

Last Christmas stop!

Our last Christmas celebration was with my mother in laws side of the family. We drove up to Arlington on the 27th & had a $1 Chinese Christmas at Sara & Brandon's house.
Their little boy Mark & Kinley played so well together!
Sara made us some yummy food & it was nice to hang out with everyone :)

Our pile of $1 gifts!
Chad opened up some Hostess Cupcakes! lol

PawPaw opened the croissant pen I brought! Yes that's right..I bet
no one you know has a croissant pen!

I ended up with a pair of cute Santa socks that I stole from Chad's girlfriend!
And Jeffrey ended up with his onyx eagle similar to this. We brought very random gifts lol! Makes for good conversation ;-)

After the adults opened their gifts, the kiddos got to theirs. Dylan & Emily couldn't make it so it was just Kinley & Mark getting to have all the fun!
Mark opened some flarp so PawPaw had to show them what it was all about! Kinley loved it but then she acted scared of it for some reason!

Hiding from the flarp behind Sara

And trying to hide with Gi!

Mark got a flute that Sara LOVES SO MUCH!!!

Kinley's very WILD hair :)
Sweet pic of Kinley with her great Grandma Davis.

Mark busted out his baseball hat (it was an easter basket with the handle cut off)!

One baseball/easter basket hat + one plastic flute=

One great snake charmer!!

Well that is finally the end of all our Christmas shenanigans! Hope I didn't overwhelm you too much! But again, it is mainly for my records & hopefully something Kinley can look back on someday!
Hope everyone had a wonderful New Year~we didn't do much! Hung out at my mom's for a little while & played games with Cindy & Greg. Then came home & we were glued to my new Wii for hours! Paused a game of golf at midnight for our New Years kiss & then continued gaming! Wouldn't have wanted it any other way though ;-)

Christmas at Nana's

After Aunt Weezer's we loaded everything up & went to my mom's house. She was still cookin when we got there so we hung out a little bit with everyone. I'm so glad both our families live here for the most part, otherwise we would go crazy at Christmas as many others do (including my sisters-ha)! Again..Kinley got way too much & she really enjoyed opening everything this year.

Nana doing what she does best...

Uncle Jeff coloring w/ Kinners
Papa entertained the kiddos.. "Get out of Papa's candy!!!"
Sweet Camryn eating her Christmas lunch!

Mmmm my fav..Praline Sweet Potatoes..

Loved her Elmo shirt!

Even got a Dora helmet!

I drew my mom's name & she really wanted a toaster.. so that's what I got her!

Nana & Papa got the kids a new swing set like ours for their house.
Jeffrey helped Papa put it together in time for Christmas

*Merry Christmas*

Christmas morning part 2

As soon as we got done seeing what Santa left us we headed over to my sister in laws house for more fun. The kids had so much fun together & loved everything they got!
Time always flies by so fast with everyone having such a good time.

The 3 stooges

Kinley got a cool Dora tricycle! We can't wait for it to warm up a little so she can get
outside & enjoy it!

We got Dylan this Longhorn set that he can take to school...
And we got Jeffrey's parents a luggage set! I think they liked it...

Up next: Christmas at Nana & PawPaw's...
