Happy Heart Day!

Kinley ended up in bed with us at 5am this morning. I think she must have hit her lip on her bed & hurt herself & she wouldn't go back to sleep. Anyway she woke us up at 8:15 saying "Happy Valentine's Day!" She is so smart & has been the sweetest thing all morning. I took her to get a Valentine donut & chocolate milk this morn..she devoured it! Glad her appetite is back!

Our sweet girl!

We are going to see Elmo Live today at 4:30~so I will be posting pictures of that later on!

Party

Kinley had to miss her Valentine's Party at school yesterday. I had made up some treat bags for all 23 kids in her class & dropped them off on Thursday.
They had heart straws, heart slinkies, heart tattoos & a Valentine's card from Kinley in each of them. Hate that she had to miss it :/

Hope everyone has a very Happy Valentine's Day~hopefully next year will be better for our house.

Snow!

It started snowing around 6 last night & then stopped for a while..

And it snowed some more overnight..

Seriously can't believe it actually STUCK this time. But it won't last long- will be 40 today.
Baylor is the ONLY school/college that didn't delay this morning.. the roads were said to be icy this morn. But I stayed home again anyway- still feeling a little "under the weather."
Have a good Friday everyone!

Poor Kinners

Just an update on Kinners. .
She seemed to be feeling alot better today. But towards the end of the night she started running fever & had a stuffy nose. She was in a terrible mood & finally just fell asleep on the couch while we ate dinner. I gave her some Motrin when she woke up & she is feeling a little better now. I'm sure when the meds wear off it will spike back up again. I just hope it's not her ears again.
If it's not one thing it's DEFINATLEY another with her. Please just say a prayer or two for our sweetie.. she just can't shake the sicknesses right now.

Super Bowl

We were so excited that our boys made it to the BIG GAME! We knew it was going to be a battle but the Saints somehow got the best of us. We didn't bring our A game & the refs didn't help us either. We all saw it tho~but I am ok, I will survive! We win some, we lose some! This loss just happened to be the MOST important game of the year. I'm not bitter.... :) Still proud of my boys for being the best team in the AFC & making it to the Super Bowl!

Our little Colts family
(this was one day that Kinley felt a little better- but she has since done a 360)
She was saying "TOUCHDOWN!!!"
I made her this shirt & bought her bows from an ETSY shop.

Jeffrey still proud of his boy, Dallas Clark
HOW SAD!!

We'll be back with next season a vengeance!!!

Sick girl

We have had a sick girl on our hands since Friday evening.
The day didn't exactly start out great to begin with.. she got bit at school for the 1st time and so after I picked her up I thought I would surprise her with a trip to Coldstone with Nana & Papa.
She got cotton candy ice cream ..ate all of it & some of Papa's chocolate ice cream.
She acted fine while we were there but as soon as we got home..she threw it all up in her playroom..it really was a sea of blue!
She didn't feel good on Saturday & was having some pretty bad diapers. And then early Sunday morning around 3:30am she started throwing up again until about 9:15am. Today she still stayed home from school & barely even got off the couch. Hasn't even eaten much of anything since Friday at lunch.
Im hoping she feels better tomorrow & also hoping that we don't get it as well.
I hate it when my baby girl is sick :( This is her first real stomach virus.

Her & Papa at Coldstone
Me & my girl

This was her on Sunday evening..laying on a warm-fresh out of the dryer load of towels! Poor baby :(

Trying to stomach some crackers

I'm hoping she feels better by this weekend~birthday party & ELMO!

Elefun!

Kinley got this Elefun game for Christmas from Brent (my stepdads nephew).
She had so much fun with it last weekend! Its blows out little paper butterflies & you catch them with your net. She kept sayin "THERE'S ONE, THERE'S ONE!" And then would ask you to put all of yours into her net ;-)
Spencer thought it was fun too :)
