Today, Jeffrey & I are heading out for a quick trip to San Diego! We will be attending Alex's Marine Boot Camp Graduation. We wanted to go all along but didn't think we could. We finally decided last week to just go- and surprise him since we told him in our letters that we wouldn't be able to make it. Jeffrey wanted to be there for his best friends big day!
Today will actually be "family day" and he will be able to walk around and show us things from about 1-6pm. Then tomorrow is the actual graduation ceremony. He gets to come home right after it's over for 10 days. Jeffrey & I will be heading home early
Saturday morning so we can get back to miss priss :) We won't be doing any site seeing unfortunately but at least our hotel & most restaurants there are pretty much on the bay :)
Pray for a safe trip for us, as well as a great day for Alex. We are so proud of him!

And this is the gift we got him. It's a Marine's Bible with specific prayers & such in the back. I had his name put on it & it looks so nice!

I went to my nephew's graduation in San Diego. It was so impressive. It is a real tear jerker. All the marines in uniform look so serious. San Diego was beautiful. It was a wonderful experience. You will enjoy it. Have a safe trip.
