Kemah Day 2

Saturday was our fun-filled day in Galveston/Moody Gardens. We got to the beach & let the kids run around & get in the hot, nasty water! I didn't put Kinley in her swimsuit bc we were only there for like 20 mins & it would've been too much work to get her in a swim diaper- swimsuit-diaper-clothes again! So we just let her go & she had sooo soo soo much fun! She liked playing with her pail that pawpaw & gi bought her & liked running back & forth in the water. I think she is a little waterbug (unlike last year)!

Then we headed on over to Moody Gardens . We ate lunch w/ yet another terrible waitor & cold food..walked around in their aquarium & rainforest area..& then went swimmin! Kinley loved the slide there too!

That night we had planned on going back to the boardwalk to watch the fireworks at 9:30. When we got there, there were thousands of people..imagine Six Flags being packed & having all those ppl on the boardwalk which is TONS smaller than Six Flags! We couldn't even push the stroller anywhere & there was no way Kinley could get out & walk. So we went back to the hotel & met Auntie M & Jeff for dinner there! We had yet another terrible waitress but at least we got to watch the fireworks from our hotel..it was just right across the bay!

Thanks PawPaw & Gi for a fun 4th of July! We can't wait to get back :)
