Couple of Updates

Sorry no pics lately. Kinley has been sick & we've been trying to get her well, plus going back & forth to see PaPa at the hospital..it has not been a good week at all!

Papa has been on a roller coaster ride. Saturday they switched up his meds~and he was feeling great early that night with NO headache at all. Then for some reason he didn't have doctors orders to keep the new meds coming during the night. So they put him back on his old pain meds & he was so sick all night & the headache came back hard.

But today was a better day~he's back on the new meds & he actually got up & walked around the halls a little bit. He's hopefully going home sometime this week, but we shall see. Just keep praying that he continues to do better with the new meds.

On to Kinley..after trying for a week or more to figure out what was wrong with miss priss..tonight we finally found out she has the flu (& is probably now getting over it) & an ear infection. She was tested once with a negative result & then her nurse practitioner said she had a cold. We knew it was more than a cold..but after 2 doctor visits what do u do?? However, today after she woke up from her 3 HOUR nap (she's hardly ever done that) she had 103.7 fever.

So we took her back to the urgent care clinic down the road & he said ohhh yes she has the flu.. & he couldn't believe the nurse at her doctors office missed it. HELLO!!!!

Anyways I couldn't fill her RX bc well it's Labor Day & it was 6pm when we left the clinic. So tomorrow will hopefully be a better day since she will finally get some antibiotics in her.

PHEW, can we just fast forward to post-flu season now?
