Day #30~ A picture

Ending this 30 day challenge with a picture. We watched Toy Story 3 for the first time last week & I thought Mr. Potato Head as Mr. Tortilla Head was THE funniest part! I haven't laughed that hard in a while! I guess you just have to watch it to think it's funny!

Day #29~3 wishes you have

Didn't I already do a wish list post? :)

I'll just list 3 wishes that were not on the other list.

1. I wish that Kinley could grow up in the same "world" that we did..meaning that I'm not sure what this world is going to be like when she is older. It's really scary to me when you think about these countries like Iraq & North Korea & just thinking about more & more terrorist attacks & possible war outbreaks with nuclear weapons. And then there is the 'end of the world' talk..we can't forget that one! I'm sure our parents worried about the same ideas but they are more real these days. Even gas prices- I wish she wouldn't have to deal with any of that. I used to pay $15 to fill my car up when I was in high school ~ I can't even imagine what it will be like for her!

2. I wish technology would slow down! I will not be one of those parents who gives their kids endless amounts of gadgets & never see them or have dinner with them! We don't have any of the stuff at home that most kids have today & I would like to keep it that way as long as possible! It drives me crazy to see kids texting all hours of the day & just MISS life bc they were too busy worrying about their phone! I would put money on that being the cause of my fender bender was bc the girl was texting & not yielding at her yield sign. Plus I just think it's flat out rude to be so self absorbed :) I miss the days of limited technology as far as these materialistic gadgets are concerned!

3. I wish I could be a stay at home mom & spend more time with Kinley. I'm sure I would spend all of our money if that were the case~but that is beside the point :)

Stress

Day #28~Something that stresses you out

I can narrow my stress points down to 3 big ones:

1. Kinley being sick.. not just having asthma but when she actually gets hit hard with that and allergies. It makes for very rough nights at our house. I stress over me not being able to take it away from her & just the thought of her having to suffer through it ALL THE TIME. But, I know, it could be a lot worse.

2. Kinley's birthday party day! I looove planning it but the day of, I am usually a crazy woman & feel like I never get to talk to anyone or enjoy any of it. Plus I can never get everything I want for the parties- something doesn't work out or just the simple fact that I can't afford to do what I really want to do! I think we are doing it at our house again this year so I know I will be off the wall!

3. Money & Bills! This is on everyones list~& if it's not please share the wealth :)

Pets

Day #27~ Your pets

We do not have any pets :( But I hope to one day get a puppy for Kinley. She loves puppy dogs!

She would love a little shih-tzu just like Spinny Winny! I love these pups bc they don't shed :) Makes me nervous getting a pet bc of Kinley's allergies & asthma.

I LOVE Boxers. They are really friendly dogs & are great with kids. I like that they have short coats too. I would love to get a Boxer & name him Colt :)

I also love these little guys! I know they can get loud & annoying with their howls but MAN are they CUTE! I want to name mine Charlie.. just like P-Dub!

Lessons Learned

Day #24~ Something you have learned

Actually over the years I have learned that it really doesn't matter what other people think. About what I do, how I do something, when I do something, etc. Life is just too short to try & please everyone else all the time. It is our life..not anyone else's. What matters is what we think is best for our family or ourselves just as individuals :)

Clothes

Day #23- Favorite pieces of clothing

I am most comfortable in a cutesy top, capri's (or jeans) & sandals (or flip flops)!

I like to wear dresses but my legs are too white so I feel so self conscious in them!

So on most days you will see me in capri's & sandals during the summer~!

(this is a huge sandal lol)

Makeup

Day #22~ What's in your makeup bag?

I recently found the perfect makeup for me! Merle Norman Luxiva Lasting Foundation along with the Luxiva Ultra Powder Foundation. I put it on in the morning & have to really wash my face good at night to get it off- so it does NOT come off during the day like EVERY other makeup I have tried over the years. So the MN + Hard Candy bronzer & blush= love for me!!

Things I Miss

Day #19~ Something you miss

There's a lot of things I miss in life but the ones that mean the most are my grandparents. They were a HUGE part of my life & we were all very close. I stayed with my Mamaw until I started Kindergarten & I remember so many things from that! She was also the one to keep me when I was sick & Mom had to work. She was also my shopping buddy :) I learn from the best!!

I went fishing a lot with my Papaw so the new song by Trace Adkins (Just Fishin) makes me want to cry! :)

My Mamaw was the best cook.. I remember a time when she made chicken & dumplins & Kristy ate like 5 bowls of it! We had some great times with them & I really can't wait to see them again someday!!

Regrets

Day #18~ Something you regret

I know MOST people say they don't have any regrets in life bc it has led them to where they are today. That is true for the most part for me but there is 1 thing I do regret.

The night before my grandma passed away she came to our house for dinner. I was in high school & moody & just wanted to leave to go to Jeffrey's house for a while. So I left w/o telling anyone bye including her. If I had only known it would be the last time I would get to tell her goodbye...

Day #16~ Your dream home

This is easy for me! Ha! I think it's easy for any girl!

My dream house would be complete with:

Stone & brick combo w/ some established trees in the front yard! But with alot more landscaping than this one..

A nice, cozy living room w/ big windows

Big ol kitchen with an island.. for all that cooking I do! But I do love to entertain & we always just end up in the kitchen!

A dining room!!!! I envision lots of Thanksgivings & Christmases in my house!

Can you say walk in closet??? I would never leave it!

Big bathroom with a jacuzzi tub & my OWN vanity :)

A big comfy room for our Princess.. I have always wanted a room with a window seat!

Funny Story

Day #15~ Recent funny story

WELL most of our giggles these days comes from the little 3 yr old running around our house! A couple weekends ago we went to Houston to visit Macy. On Sunday before heading out we stopped to eat lunch with our friend Ashlee & her daughter Rylie. The restaurant was playing music & Kinley decided to randomly start playing the fiddle! The funny part is- she make this Robert De Niro face while doing it & it's the funniest thing ever! You really have to see it to think it's funny.

Ashlee told me last week that she took Rylie to the same place to eat & she thought Kinley was going to be there :/ But Rylie played the fiddle without her!

Goals

Day #13~Your goals

1. Well.. I wish I could just snap my fingers & 30lbs would just fall off of me! Weight loss is still a goal of mine..if I could just put down the french fries LOL!!

2. Another goal is to sell our house..& purchase another.

3. To hopefully have baby #2 in the near future (& have a VERY uneventful pregnancy/delivery).

4. To travel alot with Kinley & hopefully take her on a Disney cruise!

5. To just be the best mom & wife I can be.

Believe

Day #12~ What do you believe in?

WOW this is a loaded question. It can be taken in so many directions. I think the most obvious would be God. I am a firm believer and I hope to instill that in Kinley as well. We may not go to church every Sunday but we still know Him & trust in Him & that's all that matters.

I believe in having good morals & values to pass down to your kids.

I believe in discipline.

I believe in the Golden Rule.

I believe in our Military.

I believe in happily ever after.
